I am offering for sale a reference-grade stereo D/A converter and a top-of-the-range LavryBlack DA10 headphone amplifier from the renowned designer Dan Lavry. The ideal solution for uncompromising studio monitoring, precise listening, or as a high-end headphone system. The D/A converter features the legendary CrystalLock™ technology for the elimination of jitter and digital noise.
I am selling the unit as a standalone device (without the box or manual), and I will include a power cable free of charge.
Technical condition and specifications:
• Sound and functionality: 100% functional, transparent sound reproduction, display in good working order.
• Cosmetic/mechanical defect: A small plastic cover flap on the optical input (Toslink) is broken off (hence I rate the appearance as 8/10). This has no effect on functionality or signal transmission – the optical cable fits securely in the connector and works perfectly. This has been factored into the price.
• Volume Control: Digitally controlled discrete analogue attenuator with 1 dB step precision (no rattling of traditional potentiometers).
• Headphone amplifier: Top-of-the-range discrete headphone output on the front panel.
Connectivity:
• Digital inputs: XLR (AES/EBU), RCA (Coaxial S/PDIF) and optical Toslink.
• Analogue outputs: Balanced XLR (can also be set to unbalanced), polarity inversion switch and Mono mode.
